Erwin Ysewijn (pronounced “Icewine”) has dedicated the last 25 years of his professional career to the R&D and global marketing for advanced semiconductor and system products. He is currently Lantiq’s Vice President of Marketing for its CPE business unit, responsible for worldwide marketing of the company’s customer premises equipment products. Before joining Lantiq, Ysewijn spent nearly seven years as the Vice President of Marketing for Infineon Technologies, Wireline Communications Business Division (which became Lantiq in 2009). He joined Infineon in 2001 as the Marketing Director of Wireline Communications in Japan.
He began his career at the R&D group of Prodata N.V. (Belgium) as a hardware and firmware development engineer. Ysewijn later joined HITACHI where he held a number of managerial positions including Marketing Manager for Discrete Components (Europe), Export Manager (Japan), and Manager for Networks & Communication Products (HITACHI Europe/OPNEXT).
He is frequently an invited speaker at industry events where he shares his global management experience, deep understanding of the industry, and extensive real-world technical and marketing knowledge with audiences around the world.
Ysewijn graduated from VTS Sint-Niklaas in Belgium and completed the Global Management Development program at Babson College in Boston.
