Visionable is a healthcare technology company that provides a video collaboration platform for clinicians to deliver better patient care. Offering an alternative to face-to-face GP appointments is a key part of the NHS 2020 plan to move to more accessible, digital care. Designed by founders who have worked within the NHS and who continue to partner closely with NHS clinicians, the platform has been built specifically to address the advanced technical needs found in healthcare, whilst transforming how healthcare is delivered to patients--anytime, anywhere, whilst understanding and assisting the NHS in adapting to this type of healthcare delivery and new ways of working. We offer a video conferencing platform used for MDTs and clinician-to-patient consultations.
We also provide an app for healthcare professionals that allows them to connect with patients safely and securely without storing any patient data and that allows the patient to join without downloading an app or requiring registration. We provide an appointment booking platform with our video technology, solutions via API/SDK, and have products in the connected ambulance arena currently in development. We are also currently in the process to be certified as a Class 1 medical device providing video conferencing technology and lossless imaging specifically for the HealthCare industry.
Because Visionable was designed especially for healthcare, it’s ideal for clinical settings. Clinicians can monitor and consult with patients virtually, with all of the required records, scans, and pathology images at their fingertips.
Visionable enables the redesign of healthcare allowing the experts to be brought to the patients, anywhere, anytime and collaborate on a single platform. Its Video API has been designed to create the connectivity needed to put healthcare at fingertips. It will provide an instant, interactive video collaboration experience by integrating its Video API within most existing health mobile, web or desktop applications
What sets Visionable apart is we manufacture our own unique video streaming technology and we hold 29 patients in the field of video and audio collaboration. We have a deep feature list and our USPs vary between each use case. Visionable goes beyond the barriers of videoconferencing.
We have the ability to stream Multiple Cameras from a single PC including medical and inspection cameras. This allows 360 degree views such as connected ambulance. Visionable connect all streams into a single session any camera feed including CCTV and medical robots, Any Data feed including multiple and any audio stream. Over all connectivity means included satellite.
Visionable also provides a specialist Stroke Service, implemented for the East of England Stroke Network, has been used to treat over 4000 patients, with an annual saving of £2.7m. Our video collaboration service makes it possible for the remote stroke specialists to speak directly to the patient, their families and the local stroke teams, so they can carefully evaluate the patient’s condition, whilst reviewing brain scans and other clinical imaging in perfect resolution via an image transfer system. This allows the stroke specialist remote access to scans directly and securely from the hospital’s CT scanner. With the clinical history, assessment of the patient’s presenting symptoms and the scan, the remote stroke specialist is able to make an initial diagnosis in real-time. The team in the local hospital can then treat the patient immediately, minimizing critical door-to-needle time and preventing unnecessary patient transfer to another hospital. Telemedicine
Alan began his career in healthcare at the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Rising quickly through the ranks, he was soon managing front-line services – and a staff of 200 – at London’s renowned St Mary’s Hospital, and then went on to lead the Service Improvement Program for NHS Westminster. This invaluable “in-the-trenches” experience gave Alan a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing public health in the UK. Nationally-recognised as an NHS leader and innovator, Alan pioneered the development of several clinical collaboration “firsts”, including breakthrough stroke and cancer services, which are still saving lives today. Since leaving the NHS, Alan has partnered extensively with global government health organisations and leading communications providers to identify new ways to design communications and collaboration in healthcare. He is proud to be leading an organization focused on enabling front-line staff to design the future for the NHS.
