2022 年 10 月 Matter 連接標準聯盟 (CSA; The Connectivity Standards Alliance) 發布了初版規格 Matter 1.0，定義 Matter 標準並展開認證計劃，至今已有包括 Apple、Google、Amazon 共超過 280 家科技公司參與，由於五年內全球應用於智慧家庭的連網裝置將倍增，市調機構 ABI Research 預估 2022 年至 2030 年與 Matter 相容的智慧家庭裝置將出貨超過 55 億台，使得 Matter 標準成為驅動下一波物聯網成長的重要推力。

Matter 標準以互聯網協定 (IPv6) 作為連接基礎，除了能協助跨品牌及跨平台裝置實現可互操作性 (interoperability) 之外，還能提升現今與未來智慧家庭的安全與隱私性、簡化製造者開發複雜度，並增加消費者購買連網裝置的相容性。

為了協助您規劃並開發 Matter 產品，Arm 將於 2 月 14 日 (二) 下午 1:30 舉辦台灣首場匯聚業界完整供應鏈的「Arm 物聯網暨 Matter 線上技術研討會」，由 Arm 副總 Laurence Bryant 開場；隨後由 Arm 物聯網專家針對 Matter 趨勢與商機、Arm 物聯網全面解決方案、聚焦於 Cortex-A 架構的 Project Cassini 與聚焦於 Cortex-M 系列的 Project Centauri 計劃、如何以 Arm 虛擬硬體協助開發者加速與簡化軟體開發流程並協助軟體開發者與OEM廠商克服硬體的限制進行開發，其中特別重要的是，Arm 將分享如何安全有效的開發物聯網與 Matter 裝置；CSA 與多家領導廠商包括聯發科技、Silicon Labs、Rafael Micro、D-Link、Matter 認證測試公司百佳泰等，將分享 Matter 對產業之影響、如何對應 Matter 產品開發之技術挑戰、Matter 多樣化的應用場景與豐富的解決方案。研討會最末段，將由聯發科技、Rafael Micro 與中強光電演示基於 Arm 架構支援 Matter 的產品。

Connectivity Standards Alliance & Matter Introduction
