5G正如火如荼的發展當中。其中，毫米波陣列天線的性能是決定系統表現的重要因素之一。由於陣列天線的複雜度及對品質的嚴苛要求，電磁模擬扮演的腳色比以往來得重要許多。輻射訊號的涵蓋率(EIRP CDF)及近場功率密度(Power Density) 需要精確及完整的的分析，這對研發人員是極大的負擔。除此之外，基站與雲端設備的高速通道傳輸也需要透過模擬的幫助來協助性能的提升，像是電訊號的傳輸與光電通訊系統的模擬。我們將針對以上的設計要點及分析手法做一個詳盡的介紹。

HSI-TSENG CHOU (F’2012) received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1988, and his M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in also electrical engineering from The Ohio State University (OSU) in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He is currently appointed as a Distinguished Professor in the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering and Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He has been a technical consultant to 11 companies, and an independent director of the board of director to a company. During his career, he has collaborated with more 50 industrial companies in terms of research projects. He has cultivated two companies to initiate the new businesses in high-gain antennas from their startups. He is also the founder of OhmPlus Tech., a startup company for millimeter wave RF production testing including phased arrays of antennas.
Dr. Chou joined ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) in OSU as a graduate research associate during 1991-1996 and as a post-doctoral researcher during 1996-1998. His research interests include wireless communication network, antenna design, antenna measurement, electromagnetic scattering, asymptotic high frequency techniques such as Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (UTD), novel Gaussian Beam techniques, and UTD type solution for periodic structures.
Dr. Chou has received many awards to recognize his distinguished contributions in the technological developments. Some important ones includes a distinguished contribution Award in promoting inter- academic and industrial cooperation from Ministry of Education, distinguished engineering professor award from the Chinese Institute of Engineers, distinguished electrical engineering professor award from the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering, and University’s Industrial Economics Contribution Award (2008), National Industrial Innovation Awards—Key Technology Elite Award (2011) and Industrial-Academia Collaboration Award (2017) all from Ministry of Economics. His work in active antenna calibration was awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, as the “Future Technology Award” in 2020. He was elected in 2004 as one of the nation’s ten outstanding young persons by Junior Chamber International, in 2005 a National Young Person Medal from China Youth Corps of Taiwan, and as one of the top 10 rising stars in Taiwan by Central News Agency of Taiwan. He has served as the chair of IEEE AP-S Taipei Chapter and received the best chapter award in 2012, and is currently the chair of EMC-S Taipei chapter. He also received outstanding branch counselor awards from IEEE including IEEE headquarter, R-10 and Taipei Section, respectively. He received the IEEE technical field undergraduate teaching award in 2014. He has published more than 550 journal and conference papers, and holds 50 patents. He is an IEEE Fellow and IET Fellow, and an elected member of URSI International Radio Science US commission B.

Middle Wen is Product Manager at LitePoint, and responsible for PA/FEM testing and 5G testing products.
He got bachelor and Master's degree from Chiao Tung University in communication engineering in Taiwan. He joined Trendchip in 2006 as software engineer to develop VDSL chipset physical layer driver. Then he joined Mediatek as layer 1 and RF software engineer in 2007, co-develop the baseband frontend and RF calibration methodology of Mediatek’s first WCDMA chipset solution. In 2011, he joined Qualcomm Taiwan as customer engineer responsible for technical support for Taiwan mobile phone customers in RFSW area. After working at 3 chipset companies, he joined LitePoint in 2015 for a new PXI based product line for PA/FEM testing.
