在數位時代快速發展的浪潮中，資訊安全與數位身分驗證的議題愈發受到全球關注。長期以來，傳統密碼機制雖作為身分驗證的基礎手段，但其脆弱性與操作不便也日益顯現。密碼外洩、釣魚攻擊、社交工程等資安風險，正促使全球尋找更安全且用戶友善的身分驗證方式。在這樣的背景下，由全球主要科技、金融、電信、資訊與資安與各產業的領先企業所組成的 「FIDO聯盟（FIDO Alliance）」，持續致力於推動開放標準，實現真正無密碼的安全驗證環境，已成為數位轉型過程中不可忽視的重要推手。

為促進我國與國際間在 FIDO 技術應用的深度交流，FIDO聯盟與「FIDO聯盟臺灣分會（FIDO Taiwan Engagement Forum）」共同主辦「Welcome to Passkey World 年度研討會」，訂本（114）年12月2日於台北君悅酒店隆重登場。此次活動主題聚焦於 Passkey 技術的實務應用與產業整合，邀請來自全球的技術專家、企業領袖與開發社群齊聚一堂，深入探討 Passkey 如何從技術構想到落地實施，全面推動身分驗證邁向新紀元。

本次研討會由 FIDO 聯盟執行長 Andrew Shikiar 與臺灣分會會長張心玲共同揭開序幕，並將由多位專家進行演說，分享臺灣與各國於數位治理與身分識別應用方面的最新成果與未來進程。會議內容涵蓋基礎介紹到高階應用案例，從標準制定到實際部署，從政府政策到企業實務。除了各式主題演說與應用分享之外，現場更設有互動與實機展示區，讓與會者能夠親身體驗Passkey驗證的流程與應用場景。參與者將能深入了解如何透過FIDO技術實現高安全性、低使用門檻的驗證流程，同時提升用戶體驗與系統整合效率。

In today‘s rapidly evolving digital era, information security and digital identity authentication have become global priorities. For decades, password-based systems have served as the foundation of user authentication, but their vulnerabilities and poor user experience have become increasingly evident. Against this backdrop, the FIDO Alliance—a global consortium spanning information and telecommunication technology, finance, and cybersecurity—has been leading the charge toward open standards that enable a truly passwordless future. To strengthen collaboration between Taiwan and the global community in advancing FIDO technologies, the FIDO Alliance and FIDO Taiwan Engagement Forum will co-host “Welcome to Passkey World” at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

Centered on the real-world applications and industry adoption of Passkey technology, the conference will gather government leaders, technical experts, business executives, and developer communities from around the world and the Asia-Pacific region. Together, they will explore how Passkey can evolve from a technical concept into large-scale deployment—ushering digital authentication into a new era.

The event will open with keynote remarks by Andrew Shikiar, Executive Director & CEO of FIDO Alliance, and Hsin-Ling Karen Chang, Chair of FIDO Taiwan Engagement Forum, followed by presentations highlighting Taiwan's latest initiatives in digital governance and identity infrastructure.
