Smart Life Technology Forum – Creating a Smart New Life in Asia

「智慧生活」是政府「三業四化」產業優化政策訂出的示範亮點產業之一，根據經濟部的「智慧生活應用產業推動策略與成果」顯示，台灣的智慧生活應用產業將於2017年創造出高達1.3兆元的產值。而台灣資通訊產業供應鏈完整，擁有頂尖的硬體研發與製造能力，具備發展智慧生活科技的領先優勢，台灣業者可藉由硬體帶動內容與服務的方式，將智慧家庭、智慧教室與智慧交通等應用推向國際市場。

爲加速台灣企業搶進智慧生活應用產業所帶動的龐大市場商機，2013年亞太產業高峰論壇將以「智慧生活科技運用-打造亞太智慧新生活」為大會主軸，規劃了「全球智慧生活發展現況與趨勢」與「台灣與亞太智慧生活產業之發展藍圖」為題的兩場子論壇，並且邀請智慧生活應用產業的產、研界重要代表一同與會，向所有與會來賓分享全球智慧生活應用趨勢，以及台灣企業如何從智慧娛樂、智慧交通、智慧聯網與智慧家庭等四個構面出發、提供最新、最吸引人的應用與服務型態，進而激勵出更多元與創新的應用服務，極大化智慧生活應用產業商機。

此外，此論壇亦邀請東南亞各國的官方與企業代表與會，希望藉由此論壇平台，促進我國與亞太地區業者的合作交流機會，達到最佳的國際行銷效益。

"Smart-Life" innovation, which combines digital hardware, software and content services, will be one of the focal points of Taiwan's "Three industries, Four reforms" restructuring program. According to the Smart-Life application survey reports, the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affair foresees rapid growth in this sector, with production in the Asia Pacific region reaching NT$1.3 trillion by 2017.
Taiwan's electronics manufacturers have strong hardware design and manufacturing capabilities. For the ICT industry to transform into a more cohesive unit, new software designs and enhanced service integration have been introduced.
There's huge growth opportunity ahead. To seize the opportunity, Taiwanese companies in the sector can make effort in integrating hardware, software and services to deliver effective solutions for the home, education and mass transportation markets.
To encourage these companies to take advantage of the opportunity in the Smart-Life market, the Ministry of Economic Affairs will host an industry forum- 2013 TAIPEI SUMMIT. This event will feature two key topics: "Current global Smart-life developments and future trends" and "Taiwan's Smart-life industrial development roadmap in the Asia region." Several high-quality solution providers have been invited to discuss their solutions for the Smart life market. Interested parties are encouraged to enroll for this event. .
The organizer has also invited government officials and enterprise representatives from various countries in Southeast Asia to participate in the summit. In a way, this event is also meant to foster cooperation and enhance exchanges among enterprises from Taiwan and the Asia Pacific region.
